*Headdesk* WORD FAIL! LOL! It made me laugh... a lot. What can I say, I needed the laugh. I hope this makes y'all laugh also. :-D

 Just so every one knows, ('cause I totally meant to post this yesterday, but ran out of time and energy) I'm now home from the hospital.  YAY \o/\o/\o/\o/  I'm on some hefty antibiotics and bed rest for the remainder of the week.  I don't have a lot of energy, but duh, I have pneumonia.  LOL ( Read more... )

 So apparently the lurgy that I thought I had all weekend long was actually a mild case of pneumonia.  AND, since I'm diabetic and had been running a fever, they admitted me to the hospital.  BOOOOOOO!!!!!!!  Plus, they haven't even been able to get me into a room yet.  That's right.  I've been in the ER since 6 o'clock last night.  Granted I am in ( Read more... )

My Papa passed away this morning.  As some of you know, he's been really sick since December.  Today, he went home for good to be with his lovely wife of over sixty years.  She went home to be with Jesus two years ago.  It was peaceful and he was very ready.

So today I did not get much done in the way of what I had planned to do.  I did not get any extra grades in the great book, I sadly did not get any work done on the new fic I'm supposed to be beta'ing for a new Conby author (sorry, sorry, sorry), but I have good news.

One of my best friends, who is in the military and has been away on tour overseas is coming home for her two week leave.  She called today to see if we could go on a road trip to north of Dallas to see Cirque du Soleil.  I've never seen them in person, but  love their stuff.  I can't freaking wait.  The coolest part is that this trip coincides with ( Read more... )

 Yesterday morning, the internet/wifi/cable at my house stopped working, so I reset the box and left for work.  When I got home the TV had started working but I still had no internet connection.  So, at 15 minutes into NCIS on a commercial break, my dad went and reset the internet so that I could get internet.  Apparently the box then proceeded to ( Read more... )
